Canal has a 65-minute order forwarding delay on Retailer orders. This delay allows Retailers to handle any customer service requests that may arise after an order, like canceling or updating. If an order is canceled within the window, it will not be forwarded to the Supplier for fulfillment. After this window the order will be forwarded, and it is up to the Retailer to follow up with the Supplier to make any changes or updates.

Changing the order forwarding delay
Settings > Selling preferences > in Order management update the order delay (in minutes) to the desired time frame > click Update.

Order forwarding delay for test orders
As a Retailer running a test order with Suppliers, you may want to decrease the order forwarding time to speed up the process. After running a test order, we recommend changing it back to the standard 65-minute order forwarding delay.
