Canal has a 65 minute order forwarding delay on Storefront orders. This delay allows for Storefronts to handle any customer service requests that may arise after an order, like canceling or updating. If an order is canceled within the window, it will not be forwarded to the Supplier for fulfillment. After this window the order will be forwarded, and it is up to the Storefront to follow up with the Supplier to make any changes or updates.
Changing the order forwarding delay
Navigate to "Shipping & Orders" under settings. Update the order delay (in minutes) to desired time frame and click "Update".
Order forwarding delay for test orders
As a Storefront running a test order with Suppliers, you may want to decrease the order forwarding time to speed up the process. After running a test order, we recommend changing it back to the standard 65 minute order forwarding delay.
