When you list new products on Rokt Catalog, you can choose whether they're automatically approved for a specific retail partner. When enabled, every product you list is approved for that partner. Before turning this on, make sure you intend to go live with every product you list for this partnership.
Setting up automatic product approval
- Select Partners from the left-hand menu under Marketplace.
- Select the retail partner you want to configure.
- Select the Partnership tab.
- Under Partnership terms, select See more.
- Find the New products section and select Edit.
- Select Automatically approve new products and enter the partner's commission percentage.
- Alternatively, select Do not automatically approve new products if you do not want this enabled.
- Select Save.
Which option to choose
- Automatically approve new products: Every product you list to Rokt Catalog is approved for this partner, eventually sent through QA, and published to the Partner. This is a good fit if you want your entire catalog available to this partner without reviewing each listing individually.
- Do not automatically approve new products: New listings require manual approval before they become available to this partner. Use this option if you want to control which products go live on a per-product basis.
This setting is configured per partnership. If you work with multiple retail partners, you can set a different preference for each one.
How does shipping work?
All pre-existing partnerships follow your current shipping terms.
If this is a new partnership, the shipping rate is set depending on the Partner's Shopify plan. If the Partner is on the Shopify plan or higher, shipping is set to the Brand's default shipping method. If the Partner is on Shopify Basic, the shipping settings are set to the Brand's default fixed rate.
Designating a fixed rate is required to use automatic approval since it is the default for some Partners. You can change this at any time via Settings in the Shipping tab.
If you want to change your shipping setting for a specific partnership, a proposal is required from the Partner.
