Our Post Purchase tool is an opportunity to offer a product to your customers for a timed period after they checkout and before they land on the order confirmation page.
When selecting products for this page, here are a few tips:
We recommend any sort of “add on” product that is complementary with your core product offering
Products that are lower in price relative to your store’s AOV tend to perform best
Think seasonal - products that tie in with an upcoming occasion need are likely to strike a chord with your customer
Creating your Post Purchase page
This tool can be set up by navigating to "Tools" > clicking "Create".
Canal allows you to build this page in app and preview what your customers will see on Desktop or Mobile. Your page will consist of 4 sections:
- A Headline: A short phrase to catch your customer’s attention
- The Products: You are able to select up to 5 products but only 1 product will display
- Discount: If you want to provide a discount items added from this page
- The Time limit: This is how long you want this page to be available to customers before being directed to your "Thank you" page
