Once you complete Canal app onboarding, you’re ready to begin onboarding via EDI. Within 24 hours, you will receive an email from Orderful to set up your account. Click the account setup link in this email and you will be redirected to the sign-up page.
This article will walk you through how to complete Orderful onboarding. The steps include:
- Confirm settings
- Creating communication channels
- Inviting users to your organization
If you already utilize an EDI solution or provider, such as SPS Commerce, please note that you’ll only need to visit Orderful for initial account setup. From that point on, there’s no reason to return to Orderful - transact as you normally would in your ERP or EDI system of choice.
You’ll follow the same steps as above, configuring the communication channel as your EDI provider. Once you are live, Canal transactions will be sent to your EDI solution alongside transactions from your other channels.
