The Invite Partners page lets you bring new Brands onto Rokt Catalog and into a partnership with your store. You can set your default terms, send invitations by email or shareable link, and track each Brand's onboarding progress—all from one page. In this guide, you'll learn how to use each part of the invite workflow to grow your brand partnerships.
Getting to the Invite Partners page
Select Brands from the top navigation bar in the Catalog app, then select Invite from the dropdown. The page is organized into a step-by-step workflow: set your terms, invite the Brand, the Brand accepts, and you start selling.
Setting your default terms
Before sending an invitation, review the default terms that Brands see when they receive your invite. These terms apply to all new partnerships unless you negotiate different terms later. You'll see three fields:
- Your commission: The percentage you earn on each sale of the Brand's products. This is pre-filled with your account default (e.g., 42.88%).
- Shipping paid: How shipping costs are handled. For example, "Brand's dynamic rate" means the Brand covers shipping at their standard rates.
- Contract details: Any additional partnership terms you've specified. If this shows "Not specified," you can add contract details through your account settings.
These terms are what Brands review when deciding whether to accept your partnership invitation, so make sure they reflect what you're offering.
Inviting Brands
You have two ways to invite Brands to Catalog. Both methods send the Brand to a custom onboarding flow that connects them directly to your store.
Via email (recommended)
Email invitations are the most direct way to reach a specific Brand.
- Enter one or more email addresses in the input field.
- Select Send email to send the invitation with the default message.
- If you want to personalize the outreach, select Customize message before sending to edit the email content.
The Brand receives an email with your invitation and a link to join Catalog. Once they complete onboarding, they're automatically connected to your store.
Via link
If you prefer to share your invite through other channels—like a direct message, social media post, or your own outreach emails—use the shareable invite link.
- Copy the invite link displayed on the page by selecting Copy link.
- Share the link anywhere you'd like.
Any Brand that joins Catalog through your link is automatically connected to your store with the default terms you've set.
Tracking your invitations
Total invite summary
At the top of the tracking section, you'll see a summary of your invitation results:
- Brands joined: The total number of Brands that have onboarded through your invitations.
- From invite link: How many Brands joined using your shareable link.
- From email invite: How many Brands joined from a direct email invitation.
This breakdown helps you understand which invitation method is most effective for your outreach.
My Invites
Below the summary, the My Invites table lists every Brand you've invited along with their current status. Each row shows:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Invitation | The Brand's name or email address, along with their logo if available. |
| Status | Where the Brand is in the onboarding process. "Onboarded" means they've completed setup and are ready to partner. |
| App installed | The date the Brand completed their Catalog setup. |
Select View Brand on any row to open that Brand's profile on your Brands page, where you can review their products and partnership details.
Inviting another Partner
At the bottom of the page, you'll find a separate referral link for inviting other Partners (not direct brand partners) to Rokt Catalog. This is useful if you know another retailer or marketplace operator who might benefit from the platform. Copy the general referral link and share it with anyone you'd like to refer.
Tips for growing your brand partnerships
- Personalize your email invitations when reaching out to specific Brands. A custom message that references why you want to carry their products tends to get a better response.
- Share your invite link in relevant communities, newsletters, or social channels where prospective Brand partners might see it.
- Check the My Invites table regularly to follow up with Brands that haven't yet completed onboarding.
- Review your default terms before a big outreach push to make sure commission and shipping rates are competitive.
