The Reports page—labeled Insights in the app—is where you track the performance of your Rokt Catalog partnerships. It gives you visual charts of your sales, earnings, orders, and units sold over any time period, plus a breakdown of your top-performing products and Brands. In this guide, you'll learn how to read and use the Insights dashboard to make informed decisions about your business.
Getting to the Reports page
Select Reports from the top navigation bar in the Catalog app, then select Insights. The Insights dashboard opens as the default view.
Setting a date range
At the top of the page, a date range selector controls the time period for all charts and data on the page. By default, it shows the last 30 days. Select the date range to choose a custom start and end date. All charts and metrics on the page update automatically to reflect your selection.
Filtering by Brand
Use the Brand filter to view performance data for a specific Brand partner. This is useful when you want to evaluate how one partnership is performing compared to others, or when preparing for a conversation with a particular Brand about expanding the relationship.
Charts toggle
At the top right of the page, a Charts toggle lets you switch between a visual chart view and a simplified data view for each metric tile. Turn it on to see trend lines; turn it off for a cleaner summary view.
Performance metrics
The Insights page displays six metric tiles that give you a read on your Catalog performance over the selected date range. The first four show time-series charts; the last two show ranked lists.
Gross sales from Rokt Catalog
This chart shows the total dollar value of all orders placed through your store that include Catalog-powered products. The headline number at the top (e.g., "$31,436.48") is the sum for the full date range, and the chart plots daily sales so you can spot trends and spikes.
Net earnings from Rokt Catalog
This chart shows your actual earnings after Brand commissions and Catalog platform fees have been deducted. The headline number (e.g., "$9,109.32") represents your take-home revenue for the period. Compare this to gross sales to understand your effective margin.
Total orders with a Rokt Catalog product
This chart counts the number of orders that included at least one Catalog product. The headline number (e.g., "231") is the total, and the bar chart shows order volume by day. Use this to identify peak selling days and measure the impact of promotions.
Total units purchased from Rokt Catalog
This chart tracks the total number of individual product units sold. Since a single order can contain multiple units, this number is often higher than the order count. The headline number (e.g., "321") is the total for the period.
Top products by quantity
This section ranks your best-selling Catalog products by number of units sold during the selected date range. Use this to identify which products are resonating with your customers and consider featuring them more prominently on your store. If no product data is available for the selected period, this section displays "No Data."
Top Brands by sales
This section ranks your Brand partners by total sales revenue. Each row shows the Brand name, the number of orders, and the total dollar amount. Select View all to see the complete Brand performance breakdown. This ranking helps you identify which partnerships are driving the most revenue and where there may be opportunities to expand your product selection or promotional efforts.
Viewing payments
Select the View Payments button at the top of the Insights page to switch to the Payments report. This takes you to a detailed view of your payment history, including charges, processing fees, and payout details. For a full walkthrough, see Tracking past payments.
Other reports
The Reports section also includes additional views accessible from the Reports navigation:
- Payments: A detailed view of your payment history, upcoming charges, and Brand payouts. For a full walkthrough, see Tracking past payments.
- Orders: A full table of all customer orders containing a Catalog product, with filters for payment and fulfillment status. For details, see Using the Orders page.
- Fulfillments: A snapshot of how your Brands are performing on fulfillment timelines. For details, see Fulfillment Insights.
Tips for using your reports
- Review the Insights page weekly to stay on top of trends. A sudden drop in orders or revenue could indicate a Brand running out of stock or a product listing issue.
- Use the Brand filter to compare partnership performance. If one Brand is significantly outperforming others, consider expanding your product selection with them.
- Track net earnings alongside gross sales. A healthy net earnings margin means your commission rates and fee structure are working in your favor.
- Check the Top Brands section before partnership reviews or renegotiation conversations—it gives you data to support your position.
